Cutter- 2005 colt by Ima Jab O Lena & out of Jaks Hollywood Bell:
Here you go......yes that is Elk in the background......Cutter is not bothered by them at all.......even if they charge the fence when we are working by it......he ignores them and keeps his attention on me.....what a sweet heart!  Just a quick note to say what ever you guys did to him, it was awesome as this little horse accepts anything......I took the vacuum to him and he just stood there.....no big deal.  I know you said you basically didn't do anything, just tied him up for a couple hours at a time, but I am finding that hard to believe at this point.  He is either a super horse or you guys really know how to quiet a foal! Gave Cutter his first bath....he twitched and moved slightly when we put the spraying water on him but then just stood there......actually better than our "trained" show horses.....my girlfriend and I laughed and said maybe we need to go back to the drawing board on our mature horses!   You guys are awesome!  If I didn't have two other really nice horses, I'd sell them and be buying replacements from you.  I will pass the word around and let all know what a nice job you do handling them and what exceptional breeding/brain they have.  Tina

Cont. Cutter:

He is doing wonderfully, he is growing into his body and I think by spring he will look really nice.  I hope to get an update pic for you this weekend, people are commenting how much his body has changed.  Still smart as ever!  I hauled him to an indoor arena down at my friends house and he never spooked, looked around, or anything like that.  He was pretty happy to see the other horses and he loaded both times as if he did it everyday, all day!!  Since he has been box stalled and round pen'd only since he got to my house, he really cut loose when I had him on the lunge line......actually it surprised me......after I thought about the fact that he never had the opportunity to run since the sale......it made sense.  I let him burn off a little steam and then made him go to work.....he showmanship'd like an old pro, my friends were pretty amazed!!  I absolutely love him!!

"Rebel is AWESOME. She is the best horse. (Of course, I
specialize in training foals and training behavior
modification in horses of any age, using only Natural
Horsemanship Methods, so I'd like to take some credit
for it, but her pedigree and personality has just as
much to do with the success we've had together. ha ha)
Seriously, she has been by far the easiest, quickest,
most willing learning foal that I have ever worked
with. And I've been working with horses for over 20
years! You should be extremely proud of the breeding
selection you made when you bred Kate and Ima Jab
O'Lena. Rebel's confirmation is correct in every ways
and her disposition is unbeatable!" ----Julie (filly by Ima Jab O Lena)

She (Rebel) turned 2 this past August (can you believe that?) and since I completed all of her ground training quite some time ago, I started her lightly under saddle this Summer. She is so solid and has a disposition that cannot be beat. I've noticed that the Hancock/Doc O'Lena bloodline mix consistently produces incredible foals, and Rebel is certainly no exception. I've just gotten her to start trotting this week (it took some persistent encouraging to get her to break out of a walk). She will progress out of the round pen and into our larger arena this week. She is so well mannered that we have decided she will more than likely be Tyler's next horse. She is only about 14 hands give or take an inch or two, which will be perfect for him (or me - ha ha). He has outgrown his 36" pony, however, he won't admit it.  I let him ride Rebel alone in the barn this evening and they get along so well. I'll continue her training and riding her this Winter-Summer. I'm hoping Tyler will be able to begin riding her mid-summer... we'll see.  Please let me know what you think. From the pictures I have of her Mom, Kate, and Dad, she is a nice mixture of the two of them. We absolutely LOVE her... she is one in a million!!  ---Julie     (filly  by Ima Jab O Lena)

"Stinky is built exactly like Radar in every way and moves like him too.
I’ll have to take some pictures of her now that we are weaning
and you can see how she looks.  She is knock down dead gorgeous;
Fancy helped in the color; but she’s all Radar’s. Everyone says
hang on to that one and I’ve had several people want to know if
she’s for sale."

"We looked at your website and it is beautiful! My daughter
asked why there wasn't a picture of Breezy's Last Stand on there
-I have some decent ones if you would like to add one in the future!
Also, we would like to get a better copy of one of the pictures
to the far right on the page that talks about Nicks Breezy Day
- we tried to copy it off the web and it just isn't coming out clear!
"Cody" is great and we are 100% in love with him.
I will be emailing you some pictures soon and will keep you
informed if Amy doesn't beat me to it! (smile)"

Hi Lori,
I just checked out your new web site and I loved it! It is very informative, and has a lot of very nice pictures. I was so happy to see the pictures of Hunter (Danny)!! All of your horses are gorgeous! Hunter is doing great. He is so sweet! He has that "puppy dog" personality. He has excellent conformation, is very muscular, and is a great mover. He is a great horse and is always willing to do what ever is asked of him. People always ask about him where ever we go! I wouldn't give him up for the world! He gets spooked at things once in a while, but once he finds out they won't hurt him, he is fine. I think it is all a part of growing up and experiencing life. I hope all is well with you and your family. Take care,
Sandy            (colt out of Crotons Poco Candy)

I have a Nicks Breezy Day Gelding. He is 8 years old and only has 1 little tiny coronet marking. His name was A Breezy Day In Reno, now it is Another Night In Reno. He has very good disposition and moves just like Nick. I would be happy to send you some pictures if you would like!!! -----Taylor

Hi there,
I owned Breezy Day in Reno and I am grateful that you were so helpful in assisting me in having registered as a Half-Arabian. I have shown Arabian horses all my life and Reno was a blast from start to finish. He shows so much potential as a Hunt, Western, and reining horse. Because I am going abroad, to London, I recently sold Reno to a youth rider in Sun Prairie. I am confident that Reno will be an excellent horse for her to learn on. His soundness of body and mind are a credit to your breeding program. I showed Reno for the last time this August and he was the Reserve Champion Western Pleasure horse at the Wisconsin Arabian August Show. I was so proud and I received lots of compliments on him. Reno has also been the best trail horse I have ridden. The young girl that purchased Reno is very interested in his breeding. I gave her this website, but if you have any information or photos on his dam she would love t o see it. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your help and for breeding the kind of horses that are a pleasure to be around. I also attached a photo of Reno this summer.
Sincerely,
Laura Ramsey

Hey Lori,

Here is are more recent pictures of Monte (posted on the past years foals page). He is such a lover and I am so happy with him.

Jackie       (colt by Ima Jab O Lena)

Lori:
Flame has been an incredible horse for us, doing everything we ask him to do.  Samantha competed at A rated shows last year at training level dressage.  If I had him registered properly (we didn't do it because this was our trial year at A rated shows and really didn't think we would go any further) they could have gone to regional competition because in just 2 shows, they received the qualifying score of more than 60% from two different judges.
She also competed a few times in dressage shows at 3 Gaits and literally, cleaned up!  She beat many local trainers and riders much older and more experienced!
We have also been doing some jumping with him in lessons.  He uses correct form and is very talented at this also.
This year, they will be competing at first level dressage.  His lateral movements are quite good being that he is a quarter horse.  He obviously doesn't have the extended trot of some of the Warmbloods, but you can tell the difference when he is asked to give it.
On top of all of this, I have leased him out on a half lease to another family at the barn and he is teaching a 9 year old boy how to ride.  He truly is a great animal and the trainer (we moved to Pioneer Valley Stables in New Glarus last February) says he is just a gem!  Quite incredible that he can pick himself up and perform at a higher level for Samantha, and yet bring everything down a few levels for this little boy.  It is almost like he knows how to move with each different rider! Hope all is well with you and your family.
I can't thank you enough for having sold us this great horse!

Susan and Samantha Butler     (Flame is a horse that we stood at stud for a couple of years and then gelded.)

Hi Lori:

He is the best dog we could have ever asked for.  Potty training and all are going great.  He has fit in perfectly. He is very well mannered and eager to learn.  He has already learned sit, down, and shake.  We are starting puppy classes the beginning of July.   He has had a daschound, maltese, bichon, and two labs to play with a lot lately.  The whole family is crazy about him.  Thank you so much.  Joe said to ask what kind of deal could we get for a second one.  Here are some pics you can post if you want too.  Thank you so much!!!--------Jen Simmons    (pup out of Jill and Rocky)

WOW!
I'm starting to look for a filly to buy and "stumbled" across your website.
I'm totally impressed and thrilled to see scripture on your website, and the photo of your ranch sign with scripture and Icthus !!
Praise God and bless you for glorifying Him.

I live in Arizona and don't know how I could buy from you when you are so far away...but your witness for Him would make me want to have one of your horses.
Bless you for putting Him first!!
If you have time...please tell me more of your testimony.
Your sister in Christ,
Patty Bullock

From: Hannah  Re: Mork & Mandy- "Hungarian Retrievers"

Here are some pics of Mork and Mandy, two pups out of Jill and Rocky’s March 31st 2006 litter. They have settled in great and even though it has only been a year they have made quite the memories for us. As on the retriever page on how Nala has a princess personality from Jill, we are 100% sure Mandy took on that trait. Mork is such the goofball yet he so laid back for only being a year old. Sometime soon I am planning on enrolling Mandy into some agility classes. I have seen the way she runs and it is like a speeding bullet. Any way we are so excited to have these two in our family, they just can’t get enough of being around us. Sometimes Mork can’t stand to be away from my mom so one of his nicknames is Momma’s Boy and Mandy has really become attached to me, she loves knowing that I am in the same room as her. And maybe sometime in the future we could find the time to bring them up for a visit.
