Lexi has chosen to keep Dude as her new riding horse.  She plans on showing him in various types of classes in the future to include:  reining, gymkhana, halter, possibly some jumping and whatever else comes to mind.  He's a great 'jack of all trades' type- which is perfect for her- because we all know how teenagers can be- right?.  There will be more pictures coming as they both progress.   Lexi has learned that the foundation she built at the beginning of his training has helped him to be a quiet, sensible & sensitive horse for riding.  She really studied and did her homework with him and has a good solid start. She knows that what she does with him today, will effect everything about him tomorrow and for the rest of his riding career.  We'll be posting new pictures this spring  - riding him of course- and you'll see what a good pair they make.  Once again, "Poco" and "Radar" have proven that they're progeny are just incredible!  So smart, easy to train and very adorable!

Lexi now has a new project out of her beloved mare Poco, who is no longer with us in body- but always in spirit.  'Chic' is Poco and Smokey's grulla filly from May, 2007.  She's a leggy filly with an attitude!  But, she's gorgeous and has such a personality it's unbelievable.  She will really be a good looking horse and she'll sure keep Lexi honest!  We'll post pictures of Chic as she grows and as Lexi works with her.  They make an excellent pair all ready!
